A Family Photoshoot

I like to try and think of new ways to try to keeps kids interested when on a shoot. I've found that kids have a definite time limit when it comes to things like having to sit in front of studio lighting and sit still and be good and don't make faces and....and and and. I can understand how boring kids might find the studio environment so it is best to keep the time in the studio short.
I had this wonderful family come over to the studio to update some family photos. We had lots of laughs but after about 20 minutes the kids were obviously getting bored. Anticipating this, I made them a present. A place to chill out and play whilst still allowing me to capture the moments the parents were after. I stumbled upon a little DIY tutorial to create a children's tent and decided I might have a go at putting one together. I stocked it with the kids favourite snack (apples) and some other things to get their attention and they just loved it. The parents loved it as well and even snuck in for a few photos inside.
