Caboolture Markets

It is winter here at the moment, so the sun doesn't rise until after 6:30am. Last Sunday I decided that I would like to take a photo of our local market, the Caboolture country market. They sell all matter of things there but mostly fresh fruit / vegetables and second hand goods. The photo was taken while it was still dark at around 6:15am so I could take advantage of the lighting and capture the movements of the people going about their weekly shop.

So you may have noticed I post this group quite often on my blog. I am continually updating it with new faces so you will see this one posted from time to time. My aim is for 100 faces, I currently have 19 so I still have a way to go.

Shades of me

So I bought some high pigment pink eyeshadow last year sometime with the intention of making some awesome eye make up designs to take photos of. I'm no makeup artist but I do enjoy having a bit of fun with makeup sometimes. Last weekend I went all out and pulled that pink eyeshadow out of the cupboard and had fun. I'm calling the following series of photos "Shades of me" as I am the only 'model' available that will do just about anything for the photographer (me). These are all self portraits although they are not intended to be. If I had someone else, I would have used them.
