Palm flower

Last post for the night and I'm off to bed.

The wonderful {sarcasm} ... of moving to a new house with a big garden, is the big garden. The main issue we have with the garden currently (which has now been neutralised) is the fact that we have so many palm trees up close and personal with the house that we wind up with palm fronds on the roof and palm flowers in the pond.

There was a palm tree with three white palm flower branches that would delicately sprinkle flowers over the pond constantly throughout the day like icing sugar over a cake. To fix the problem, they were cut down. Once on the ground I noticed the shape of one of the flower branches to be quite unique, so I took the opportunity to photograph this for your viewing pleasure.
